I am a Senior Ecologist specialising in Gaur (Bos gaurus) ecology, reintroduction, and conservation monitoring.
My work spans the full reintroduction process, from initial feasibility assessments and ecological baseline studies to pre-release monitoring, post-reintroduction evaluation, and long-term assessment of programme success.
I focus on understanding how reintroduced gaur populations respond to new landscapes, establish themselves within suitable habitats, interact with existing wildlife communities, and adapt to ecological and anthropogenic pressures.
Through field-based research, ecological monitoring, population assessment, habitat evaluation, and evidence-based analysis, my work contributes to improving the scientific foundations of gaur conservation and reintroduction programmes.
